10th BIRTHDAY FOR IRLAM NURSERY!

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the opening of our nursery in Irlam, a Garden Party was held and lots of fun was had by all those who attended!
Activities included face painting, giant bubble machine, bouncy castle and a bbq. Our chef Jean also prepared menu samples to be tasted.

For the second successive year Fledglings, at an awards ceremony held at the prestigious 5 star Lowry Hotel in Salford, were WINNERS for being Salford's top company in the EXCELLENCE category. The award which was sponsored and judged by global chemical manufacturer BASF was based on the following criteria;
"The Excellence Award focuses on service excellence throughout the entire organisation including management, processes, feedback monitoring and frontline customer service. This award exemplifies the highest standards of leadership, planning, analysis, people management and customer led focus."

Fledglings Irlam was inspected in October 2010 and was awarded an overall good grade, with outstanding in two areas; engagement with parents and carers and healthy lifestyles. Our engagement with families is especially important to us here at Irlam as we recognise that without it we are unable to get the best out of the children.
